Steve Smith shares Batting tips to his fans

Steve Smith is an Australian International Cricketer. He was the former Captain or skipper for the Australian Cricket team. Steve smith is currently on the top of ICC Test Ranking Batsman.

 Today he shared Batting tips to his fans and young kids to improve their batting skills through the Instagram. He started with saying the two authentic swings that the player has. He said that if you got the good shake swing should use lot more top hand and second swing is using the bottom hand try to smack the ball.

Then he said about the importance of pointing the foot towards the correct direction. If a batsman wants to hit the ball straightly, then he have to point his feet straight. If he wants to hit on the covers direction, then he have to point his feet towards the covers direction and hit. He also mentioned that how young kids and even some of the professional players neglect to bring their foot to around that straight line to enable the bat to come through.

He also says that he practices to hit shot on mid off, straight and min on directions to improve the movement of pointing the foot towards the correct direction. Practice to hit the ball straight with the good foot position, he says.

He also says to practice more Defense shots. Then you defense and then you drive, he says to mix and match the both according to the length the bowler bowls. He ended up the video saying will share the next video in few days time.

Smith also posted an picture in Instagram with the pink jersey. Smith also plays for the Franchise team Rajasthan royals in IPL. He posted the picture with the caption,"#TBT (ThrowBack thursday) to this time last year playing with the Rajasthan Royals. Missing the boys in Pink."
