Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma could stay at Mumbai when India resume training: Coronavirus

The Indian Team Captain Virat Kohli & The Limited overs Vice Captain Rohit sharma could be Stranded at Mumbai  when Indian Cricket Team resume training, says the BCCI treassurer Arun Dhumal.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) could allow outdoor training for the Indian cricket team players by next week, after the Government of India announces easing down of nationwide restrictions due to corona virus. But in the Mumbai, the situations are going very critical day by day because of the corona virus. The Number of cases of corona virus are increasing more daily. So for the safety of the Indian Top Players like Virat kohli & Rohit Sharma, the BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal have told to AFP that,"For players like Kohli & Rohit, the restrictions are there in Mumbai and might stay."

The BCCI Official have also added that, the players might return for "Some Skilled based training" outdoors could be possible in other parts of the country. Dhumal also said that India's National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore was working on a post lockdown for players which would be adapted to the level of restrictions.

"As of now we are working, given the lockdown restrictions, through apps and online modes. The coaches and support staff are regularly in touch with the players," said Dhumal.

"Everybody would be keen to hit the ground and the idea is whenever we are ready for cricket to resume, the players  are able to give their 100 percent."

India have a tour of Sri Lanka in the month of July, but it is expected to be called off.
