Prithvi Shaw also recalled about his great innings when he scored 546 runs at the age of 14-year-old in a Harris shield match in Mumbai. This was the innings, which made him so famous and brought him into limelight at a very young age. Shaw had hit 85 fours & 5 sixes in that innings in which opponent's wicket-keeper was frustrated.

Speaking in the YouTube chat show Cricbuzz's Spicy Pitch, Prithvi Shaw recalled his beautiful memories.

When speaking about his special innings, Prithvi Shaw told that,"At that time I wasn't even at 500. I was playing at 300. And he wasn't getting the bat at all. The poor thing kept squatting behind me, waiting for a ball." Shaw further recalled that the keeper said,"I am not coming tomorrow."

Then Shaw went on recall about the memories of first meeting with 'Master Blaster' Sachin Tendulkar when he was 8 years-old.

Shaw said that,"When I was 8 years old, Sachin came to MIG. That's all I remember. He was watching from somewhere but I didn't know till he said something. When he gave me the bat, I was feeling emotional. He wished me good luck and said I hope you score tons of runs with this bat."

Shaw further said about his 2017 Ranji trophy semi-finals for Mumbai. Shaw was unable to play the first innings. But when a message came from Sachin, that helped him find his footing in the second innings.

He said that,"Chandu Sir had a message from Sachin Sir at that time. It read 'Tell him to play how he always plays. Nothing different and it'll win the game for us." Then Shaw went on scoring 120 runs for the team in the second innings and helped Mumbai to step into Final.

The 20-year-old Prithvi Shaw made his International debut for India in 2018 in the Test series against West Indies. In his debut match he scored a century and also awarded man of the match. He also won man of the series trophy in that series.
