Raina says that Dhoni's preparations were different for IPL 2020

Suresh Raina is an Indian cricket team all-rounder & also plays for the franchise team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL. Suresh Raina is one of the finest all rounder in the Indian cricket team. Speaking in the Cricket Connected show in Star Sports channel, the left-handed batsman Suresh Raina said that Dhoni's preparations were different this time for IPL 2020, when compared to the previous years IPL seasons.

The Former Indian Cricket Team Captain Mahindra Singh Dhoni haven't played in a International Match or any other league matches since the defeat after with New Zealand in the Semi-finals of ICC World Cup 2019. When IPL 2020 dates were fixed, the fans were excited because they could see Dhoni in the field after a long time. But unfortunately, due to the outbreak of coronavirus every International Cricket matches & IPL were postponed. When Suresh Raina was asked about Dhoni in Star Sport's Cricket Connected show, he shared some things that how Dhoni prepared different this time.

Raina said in Cricket Connected show that,"The first few days he took it lightly and just focused on going to the gym but he was playing the shots beautifully and his fitness level was great and he was not getting tired."

"His preparations were different this time, I have played with him over the years with the national side and IPL getting ready but it was different this time, so I just hope the matches can start quickly then everyone can see how well prepared he is and see what  I saw myself Live in the two months of the camp," he said.

The 33-year-old Raina further said that,"When someone works hard, then the prayers and blessings find their way to them. The best thing was Rayudu, myself, Mahi bhai & Murali Vijay were batting in a group and Mahi bhai bats for long hours when he is in Chennai for about 2-4 hours. But this time he was just not getting tired of batting. He was doing his gym in the morning, followed by batting for three hours in the evening."

Suresh Raina is considered one of the successful player in the Indian Premier League & also regarded as one of the best fielders in the world cricket. He has played many match winning innings for both Indian cricket team & also for the franchise CSK. Raina believes that he could make comeback soon in the Indian Cricket Team.
