Sachin Tendulkar recalls his first memory with Yuvraj Singh

It's been one year since Yuvraj Singh, India's 2011 World Cup hero retired from the International Cricket. Yuvaraj Singh announced his retirement on June 10, 2019, when the Indian Cricket team was in England playing the ICC World Cup. It was a 19 year long career for the legendary left-hand all-rounder.

On the first year anniversary of Yuvraj Singh's retirement, 'Master Blaster' Sachin Tendulkar shared his picture with Yuvi on social medias & recalled his first memory with him. Sachin said that,"Yuvi, the first glimpse the world got of you may have been in the champions trophy in 2000 but my first memory of you was during the Chennai camp."

Sachin continued that,"I couldn't help but notice how athletic & deceptively quick you were at point. What I also realized that you had a wonderful six hitting ability & it was evident you could clear any ground in the world with ease. We've shared so many memorable moments playing for India together and it was an absolute joy to have you as a teammate. God Bless and keep inspiring the younger generation."

#MissYouYuvi started trending on Twitter on Wednesday, which marked the one year anniversary of his retirement. Cricket fans started trending the hashtag as giving a small tribute to Yuvraj Singh on his first year anniversary of retirement.

Yuvraj Singh has recorded many achievements in his legendary career. He is the first & only person to hit 6 sixes in a over in T20 International Cricket. During his careed, he won T20 World Cup 2007 & ODI World Cup 2011. He remained they key player for India in both the tournament. He was named 'Man of the Tournament' award, as India lifted the World Cup after 28 years on 2011.

 The 37-year-old Yuvraj Singh has played 304 ODI matches & scored 8701 runs at the average of 36.5. In 40 Test matches he scored 1900 runs at the average of 33.9. In T20, he have played 58 matches & scored 1177 runs including the 6 sixes in a over against England Bowler Stuart Broad.
