Sreesanth set to return for IPL 2021 & reveals the team he want to play for

The Indian cricketer Sreesanth have said that he will put his name obviously in IPL 2021 Auction. His spot-fixing ban due is set to get over by the month of September 2020. So he is set to make return for the IPL next year. Recently before he also said that,"I am not finished yet.You will see me bowling again. Tough times don't last but tough men do." He is ready to return for the cricket sport once again.

Sreesanth is an right-arm-fast-pace bowler & played for Indian cricket in all formats. He was also part of Indian team winning ICC T20 World Cup 2007 & ODI World Cup 2011. He played for Kerala in first class cricket & played for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). While playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2013, he was allegedly involved in the spot-fixing along with his teammates Ajit Chandilia & Ankit Chawan. Initially, he was banned to play cricket for life time after spot-fixing in IPL 2013 and then the ban got reduced for seven years in August 2019. Sreesanth ban due ends by this September & after from that he can able to play cricket. Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) have already considered Sreesanth to play in the upcoming season of Ranji Trophy & now he also made sure that he will make return in IPL 2021. So he will be seen in the field soon. In the seven years of without cricket, he was entertaining the people & his fans through acting & even dancing. Sreesanth also participated in Bigg boss 2018 season & also became the runner-up.

"Obviously, I will put my name in IPL 2021 Auction," Sreesanth told Crictracker in a Instagram live session.

When asked about which team he wish to play, he said that his first choice would be Mumbai Indians, because of the presence of 'Master Blaster' Sachin Tendulkar in the supporting staff.

"I will play for whatever team I get picked. But as a cricket fan, it's Men In Blue Mumbai Indians, because of Sachin Paaji, I played cricket to meet Sachin Tendulkar. If I get an opportunity to play for Mumbai Indians, why not, it will be a great thing to learn from Sachin Paaji from dressing room," Sreesanth said.

Sreesanth also said that he would love to play with MS Dhoni (CSK) or with RCB. "Also I would love to play under Dhoni bhai or RCB as well," he said.

Sreesanth further said confidently that he will get opportunity to play IPL. He said that,"Even in this season some foreign players might not play and more Indians might be picked in the squads, then I have a chance to play."

The 37-year-old Sreesanth have played 27 Tests, 53 ODIs & 10 T20Is & took 87, 75 & 7 wickets respectively for India.
