Ben Stokes will be missing next 2 Tests against Pakistan: ENGvPAK

 The England Cricket Board have announced that Ben Stokes will miss the remaining two Tests against Pakistan due to the family reasons. He has been withdrawn from the ongoing Test series of England vs Pakistan.

The No.1 All-rounder Ben Stokes, who has been an important and key player for the England team, will be flying to Christchurch in New Zealand, where his parents live. He will be flying, later this week.


"England all-rounder Ben Stokes will miss the remainder of the #raisethebat Test series against Pakistan for family reasons,"said the ECB in a statement.


"Stokes will leave UK this week and travel to New Zealand. He will miss England's two Test matches against Pakistan at Ageas Bowl starting on Thursday 13 August and Friday 21 August."


"The England and Wales Cricket Board, along with the Stokes family, requests that all media respects the family's privacy at this time," the ECB board said in a statement.


Stokes, who born in New Zealand, has featured in England's all four Tests, after the International Break. He captained England in the 1st Test against West Indies, last month. In the next Test, he has also won the Man of the Match award for his all-round performance through out the game. In that match, he scored 176 & 78 runs as well as 3 wickets in bowling. The England's key player will be missing the next 2 Tests. It may affect the England's line-up.
