BCCI announces the Indian T20I, ODI and Test squads for Tour of Australia

 The BCCI have announced the Indian T20I squad, ODI squad & Test squad for the tour of Australia, which is set to begin from December.

IND vs AUS Test series


Australia's Test summer is set to kick-off with Afghanistan in Perth in November & with India in Gabba  in December, which is highly anticipated. 


This upcoming series between India & Australia is highly anticipated, because it is the first test series against India in their home, after the return of Steve Smith & David Warner from the one year ban. It is going to be a cracking series. It is the India's first cricket matches, after the COVID-19 break.

Recently BCCI announced the Indian squad for the tour of Australia. Some new players have taken place in the Indian squad, because of their excellent performance in the IPL 2020. 

Indian Test Squad for Australia series:

 Virat Kohli (Capt), Mayank Agarwal, Prithvi Shaw, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar, Ajinkya(vc), Hanuma Vihari, Shubman Gill, Saha (wk), Rishabh Pant (wk), Bumrah, Mohd. Shami, Umesh Yadav, Navdeep Saini, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, R. Ashwin, Mohd. Siraj.

Indian ODI Squad for Australia series:

Virat Kohli (Capt), Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul (vc & wk), Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Mayank Agarwal, Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Shami, Navdeep Saini, Shardul Thakur.

Indian T20I Squad for Australia series:

Virat Kohli (Capt), Shikhar, Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul (vc & wk), Shreyas Iyer, Manish, Hardik Pandya, Sanju Samson (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Shami, Navdeep Saini, Deepak Chahar, Varun Chakravarthy.

BCCI have also said that, four additional bowlers will travel with the Indian squad for the tour of Australia. Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Kartik Tyagi, Ishan Porel and T. Natarajan - will travel with the Indian contingent.

The BCCI also added that Medical Team will continue to monitor the progress of Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma.
