Tim Paine became the fastest wicket keeper to get 150 dismissals in Test: Ind vs Aus

 The Australian wicket keeper, Tim Paine became the fastest wicket keeper in International Test Cricket, to affect 150 dismissals. Paine took just 33 innings to record 150 dismissals as wicket keeper.

The Australian Test skipper wrote himself on the record books after taking the catch of Rishabh Pant on the second day of the Boxing Test in Melbourne. With the wicket of Pant, Tim Paine became the Fastest wicketkeeper to record 150 dismissals in Test cricket.


He reached this feat on the 60th over of India's first innings. While Mitchell Starc bowling that over, Rishabh Pant was looking to slash through point, but ended ip getting a thin bottom edge through Paine. It was also the 250th wicket for Australian Fast Bowler Mitchell Starc.


Tim Paine surpasses the record of South Africa's wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock, who had achieved this feat in his 34th innings in the Test Cricket. Following that, Adam Gilchrist had achieved this in his 36th innings, Mark Boucher in his 38th and Rod Marsh in his 39th innings.


By the wicket of Rishabh Pant, Mitchell Starc became the 9th bowler to reach 250th Wicket milestone. He reached this feat in his 59th Test.
